Gift Booklet Design by Malcolm Litchfield
This gift booklet is a discourse by President Dallin H. Oaks of The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints in which he affirms the central role of the family within a religious context—no matter whether that family looks exactly like a traditional nuclear family or not.
The text is set in a very readable Bembo Book with ample leading. I've used multiple colors for the text throughout—again, emphasizing the diversity of family experiences we have here on earth.
I designed this thinking of my late mother. Some of the design choices reflect her favorites. I hope you enjoy this offering!
